Same family owned and run eatery for 40+years. Greek flavors, wonderful salads, friendly and good parking and bus adjacent to front door.
Corner of Sheridan and First Ave. a favorite of many in Lakewood.
Met the owner who was there on her son's day off.
Hopefully this "institution" will persist for 40 more years! -

The food wasn't bad by any means, but I feel like it also wasn't anything special to justify the relatively higher cost. They have quite the extensive menu, with a large variety of dishes, but I'm not one to appreciate the variety as well as some. I got a texican burger, and frankly couldn't even taste the Chilis, and the bun really should have been warmer. With the check in offer and their loyalty program, the price is more reasonable.
Can agree that the environment is certainly nice, for sure, both the staff and the building itself. -

02-07-2019)It's been quite a while since I've been here being that I moved much further north and haven't been here as much as I would like. I remember eating the burger and fries here about 7 years ago, and I must say, they taste just as good if not better. The steak fries were out of this world and the burger was amazing! I also got a root beer and that was awesome as well. My waitress was very friendly and the rest of the staff was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be coming back for sure to try the rest of the menu.

What can I say, I loved this place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm friendly smiles. The waitress was so sweet to us and took such good care of us.
The menu is MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!! So hard to choose from. I went wild and got the greek skillet. It was huge and delicious! Not only was it covered in GRAVY, it was also covered in GREEN chili! Not bad for only being $10.
We also got some of the cake afterwards. It was a massive chunk of ooey-gooey chocolate topped with ice cream and whipped cream. Perfect for any good sweet tooth!
I also loved all the random Elvis decor , so adorable! -

This place is an older establishment since a good 1978. In the local neighborhood that I stayed in. The service was the best part of this place. I didn't think the food was all that good. I had the breakfast omelette with the potatoes. Thought it had no flavor on both. Needed to season the food to make it somewhat tasty. However, the service to me made it better than what the experience was going to be.
Grade: B
